Promise of the Constitution Act of 1825

Following is the full text of Proclamation of Ferdinand I, with which it promises the Constitution of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies given in Naples on July 6, 1820 , as published in the Collection of laws and royal decrees :

"to the nation on the Two Sicilies.

As a general vote of the Nation expressed the Kingdom of Two Sicilies you want a constitutional government, full of our own will allow you, and promise in the course of eight days to publish the basics. Until the publication of the Constitution wakers laws will apply.
satisfied in this way to the voting public, we order that the troops return to 'their bodies, and any other to his ordinary occupations. "
